How to farm materials

For gold meteorites, choose Chicken Heavy, Short in an intensive, focused farming session; choose Henerprise, Extended otherwise.

For Tau Ceti geodes, choose Henerprise, Extended; or Cornish-Hen Corvette, Short / Galeggtica, Short for a slight rate increase if you’re really desperate for geodes.

For solar titanium, Henerprise, Short and Henerprise, Extended are both solid choices; the former has a reasonable edge if we ignore other loot.

• Chicken Heavy, Short wins by a fair margin if you can spare the crafting cost and the effort to launch very frequently. Good for when you’re missing a small number of gold meteorites for crafting key artifacts. Note that you can stay on the rocket fuel farm, making the experience relatively painless.

• Henerprise, Extended is the canonical, all-around choice for farming gold meteorites in a laid-back style while bringing in other important goodies, including but not limited to other materials. Henerprise, Short can also be considered as a faster alternative if you are determined to farm but can’t check in at a frequency that makes a Chicken Heavy, Short session worthwhile.

• Henerprise, Extended is again the canonical, all-around choice.

• Cornish-Hen Corvette, Short and Galeggtica, Short can be ~50% better than Henerprise, Extended if you launch every 4h/6h while juggling two fuels and don’t sleep like normal, healthy human beings. The margin is even smaller if your sleep schedule isn’t messed up; what’s more, unlike Henerprise, Extended, they don’t readily bring some of the goodies crafted from geodes. Think long and hard about whether you’re truly desperate before farming on these two.

• Henerprise, Short wins in terms of quantity by a reasonable margin.

• Henerprise, Extended is again a solid, all-around choice.
